Mattress Comfort Exchange

Lifekind® has the absolute best comfort exchange policy in the organic mattress industry. While it is extremely rare for our customers to require an exchange, it is important that you understand your options in the unlikely event it becomes necessary.

  1. Our One-Time Comfort-Exchange Policy is valid for three months from the date you receive your mattress.

  2. After sleeping on your mattress and/or foundation for a minimum of 15 nights, you may exchange it for either the same product with a different firmness or a completely different style of mattress or foundation. If a mattress is replaced with a mattress of greater cost, you will be charged for the difference. No credit will be issued if a mattress is replaced with one of lesser value.

  3. Should you wish to exchange your mattress, Lifekind will pay the return freight charges and absorb the cost of the first mattress.

  4. You will only be responsible for paying the freight charges associated with the delivery of the new product. In the case of Trio mattress exchanges, your credit card will be charged for
    your new layer(s), then credited as soon as we receive your original layer(s) back. If you do not wish to have your credit card charged, you may send the original layer(s) to us first, and we will send your replacement layer(s) as soon as we receive the original(s).

    Please note: The customer is responsible for making sure the returning mattress, mattress layer(s), and/or foundation is securely bagged and boxed by delivery drivers for the trip back to our factory (just use the plastic bag and box from your replacement product). Failure
    to do so may void Lifekind’s payment of return-shipping costs.

  5. While other organic companies consider all sales non-cancelable, Lifekind mattress and pillow- top orders can be cancelled before delivery, with a 20% cancellation/restocking fee. As stated in the return policies found in our catalog, we do not offer refunds on our mattresses
    and pillow tops.

  6. Exchange is offered for reasons of comfort only, not for allergies or individual reactions to raw materials. Clearance mattresses, crib mattresses, the Maton®, Mini Euro / Hide-a-Bed,
    Youth Bed, and custom orders are not eligible for an exchange.

  7. Alaska and Hawaii customers will be responsible for all Comfort Exchange shipping costs.
